The CASD School Board
The Coatesville Area School District is divided into 3 regions: I,
II, and III. Each of the 3 regions has 3 representatives, making for a 9 member
Board of School Directors. Each School Board Member serves a 4 year term.
Anyone interested in running for one of the school board seats must begin circulating petitions in February of that year to be placed on the Primary Ballot. Winners of the primary will be placed on the General Election Ballot in November of that year. Elected members to the school board take their seats in December of that year.
There will be 5 seats up for election in 2007. Each region must begin cultivating interested parties now.
